Media commentary regarding AFL
On Tuesday 29 July, some media commentary was made regarding DAZN making changes to the AFL contract. Should customers enquire about this commentary, please use the following script.

Foxtel Go Android 16 update
Customers experiencing issues using Foxtel Go app after updating their devices to Android 16, can now download the beta Go app. This is a temporary app build until an official release app is available.

LMN channel closure
From 31 July 2025, Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) channel will no longer be available on Foxtel. Customers can continue viewing LMN content via the 9Now app available on internet connected iQ3, iQ4 and iQ5 boxes. In addition, the Movies Life Stunt pop up will be available on channel 411 from 1 August to 31 October 2025, showcasing drama and romance movies.

Price Rise media reports
This morning, there have been media reports about upcoming price changes to Foxtel's residential TV and Broadband services. If customers proactively enquire about these changes, please check the account alerts in CORE to determine if they are impacted. For affected customers, please use the following script:

Please be assured that we always aim to provide our customers with advance notice of any price changes. While the new pricing will not take effect until (1 September 2025 for TV and 1 October 2025 for Broadband), we have made this information available on our website. Additionally, customer communication will be sent to all affected customers over the coming weeks detailing the changes.
Should the customer ask when the web site notification was made available, agents can advise this was from 15 July 2025.

beIN SPORTS CONNECT
From Wednesday 23 July 2025, the beIN Sports Connect app will be available via the Apps menu on internet connected iQ4 and iQ5 boxes.
Customers will need a beIN subscription to access the content. Pricing and plan inclusions can be found on the beIN SPORTS CONNECT website.
Foxtel Go on Android 16
Some users using Android 16 are experiencing issues using Foxtel Go. Our engineering team are aware of compatibility issues with the latest release of Android 16 and the Foxtel Go app. We are testing an updated version internally and expect this to be release in the coming weeks.

SBS and ABC channel removal on iQ and below boxes
From Tuesday 22 July 2025, all free to air SBS and ABC channels will no longer be available on iQ and below boxes. For continued access to these channels, customers are encouraged to upgrade to an iQ4 box. See Content Tools and Highlights for the full list of impacted channels.

Upcoming Price Rise - Communication activities
From Tuesday 15 July, CORE scripts, alerts and web notices regarding the upcoming TV Price Rise and Broadband Migration and Price Rise will go live. My Account notification will also be updated with this information.

Updated EPG code
From Tuesday 15 July, an updated EPG code (2524281) will commence roll out to iQ3, iQ4 and iQ5 boxes. The roll out is expected to complete by 22 July.
The EPG code can be found via the Foxtel set top box by selecting Settings> Advanced Settings> System Details> EPG Software version. Click here for more information on the latest iQ software versions.

Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) channel closure
From Thursday 31 July, the Lifetime Movie Network (LMN) movie channel will close. Customers will see an update in the TV guide from Wednesday 16 July advising of the channels closure.
Customers will continue to have access to similar titles on the Movies Life pop up channel in addition to the movies library included in the HBO Max Basic with Ads service.
A web notice is now available on the Foxtel website advising customers of this change.
