On 1 March 2024, existing customers were migrated from their current plan to 2024 Platinum or 2024 Platinum with Netflix. There are varying price points for customers on this package, and these prices are dependent on what the customer was subscribed to when this package was introduced.

Netflix Premium:
Netflix premium is available to all customers who have Netflix included in their package at an additional cost per month.
1.4 Business rules
All new customers will connect on the 2024 pricing and packaging
From 1 March 2024, all new customers will be connected with minimum Foxtel Plus as a part of the 2024 pricing and packaging.
Customers reconnecting after 30 days
Existing customers who have disconnected their Foxtel account and then choose to reconnect after 30 days must be reconnected to the Foxtel Plus package with the option to add additional tiers.
Customers reconnecting within 30 days
Existing customers who have disconnected their Foxtel account and then choose to reconnect within 30 days can take up their previous package and price. Note: Customers with 2024 Platinum will be reconnected onto the package with their previous price point if it is within 30 days of disconnection.
Account holders and authorised users migrating to 2024 P&P
Only account holders can change their package to 2024 P&P.
Existing customers cannot move back to a previous P&P after going to 2024 P&P
Customers who have switched to Foxtel Plus will be unable to move back to their original 2024 Platinum package with bonus content.
Contracts do not apply to Netflix
Customers who take up a contract and a bundle with Netflix are not charged an ETF if they cancel their Netflix subscription but choose to keep their Foxtel.

Availability
Standard Definition (SD) titles are only available to iQ3, iQ4 or iQ5 STBs with an internet connection.
High Definition (HD) titles are only available to iQ3, iQ4 or iQ5 STBs with an internet connection.
2.5 Main Events
Main Events are available to all customers. Customer can order Main Events via My Account or MyFoxtel app.
Customers with an iQ5, iQ4 or iQ3 can order Main Events directly via their STB. For internet connected STBs, ISP (Internet Service Provider) charges may apply.

3.2 Owner install
Customers who would like to connect their service via satellite must arrange and pay for their own technician to complete the installation of the satellite dish and infrastructure.

Note: New customers, those with no direct debit or have less than a year of tenure must pay the Dish Kits one off charge before it can be sent out. All other existing customers will have their charge added to their next bill.
Note: Agents must always offer an internet connection as the first option. If the customer does not have home internet or cannot install an SIK, they must obtain approval from their Team Leader before ordering a dish kit and must document this on the account.

4. Equipment fees

*You must also advise the customer of any additional costs such as the standard connection fee when advising STB (Set Top Box) costs.
Important: Customers do not own their STBs; they are leasing the STBs from Foxtel. This includes the iQ5 external hard drive. If a customer disconnects their Foxtel TV service they must return their iQ4 or iQ5 STBs within 42 days of their disconnection date or they may be charged an Unrecovered equipment fee.
Note: Foxtel only recovers iQ4 and iQ5 STB's. While we welcome the return of iQ3 equipment, customers will not be charged the unrecovered equipment fee if they do not return the box.

5.2 Disconnection fees
TV - Early Termination Fees (ETF)
Customers who disconnect while in contract will be charged an ETF on their final bill. The ETF is calculated based on the months remaining in their contract, and each month already passed in the contract period reduces the fee. Use the below table to determine approximate ETF costs. See Early Termination Fee waiver matrix for exceptions.
Important: Advise the customer that any ETF quoted on the call is an estimate. The final ETF will be calculated on a daily pro-rata basis and will be displayed on their final bill.

10% discount
Customers who re-contracted for the 10% discount over 12 months will only be charged a fixed ETF upon cancelling their contract. This ETF does not reduce over time.

Unrecovered equipment fees
An unrecovered equipment fee applies when the customer does not return their STB (Set Top Box) within 42 days of disconnecting the TV service.
Note: Foxtel only recovers iQ4 and iQ5 STBs.
The unrecovered equipment fee may be waived for natural disasters or bereavement or personal tragedy (for more information, see Overview - natural disasters, deceased estates and domestic violence), but will still apply if the equipment was stolen or intentionally damaged.

5.3 Suspension fees
Customers can choose to suspend their account while they are not using their Foxtel service, even if they are on a contract (the contract period will be extended for the same amount of time the suspension is in place).
While on a suspension, the customer cannot use their Foxtel service, including access to free-to-air channels that are managed through their STB (Set Top Box).

Important: Only TV customers are able to suspend their TV service. Suspension is not available to broadband or home phone services or bundled customers.
Exceptions
Suspensions can be provided to customers at no monthly cost in certain circumstances (See Overview - natural disasters, deceased estates and domestic violence). As part of the collections process, customers may be suspended due to non-payment. Customers suspended due to non-payment incur no monthly cost for their suspension.
