Foxtel Magazine printing error
A printing error has been identified in the September edition of the Foxtel Magazine, with page 6 incorrectly displaying the August Sports schedule. If customers enquire about this issue, please use the following script:
“We understand your Foxtel Magazine has the wrong information on one of the pages, we apologise for this inconvenience. You can find the information you are after by accessing the TV Guide on the Foxtel website or MyFoxtel app, alternatively you can also access it anytime via your set top box. Again, we are sorry for any disruption this has caused, and we hope you enjoy this month’s bumper line up of sport and entertainment on Foxtel."
If a customer makes a complaint about the error, please offer a credit of $5.95 for the magazine.

HBO Max account activation campaign
We have identified a small number of customers who received the HBO Max activation campaign email last week, that were unable to complete the activation due to a system error. This issue has since been fixed and impacted customers will be sent an SMS today at 3pm advising the following:
We know there was an issue when you tried to set up your HBO Max access. That issue has been resolved so you can set up your access now by selecting HBO Max on your set-top box. Contact us: foxtel.com.au/contactus.
Impacted accounts will also contain the following CIT note:
We have identified that this customer tried to set up access to HBO Max and encountered an issue. This issue has since been resolved and the customer has been sent a SMS to advise them they can now access the HBO Max app and continue with setting up their account.

Foxtel Go app for Android 16 users - update
The Foxtel Go app (version 1.8.2) is now available for Android 16 users. Customers can download the latest version directly from the Google Play Store on any Android device. This update replaces the previous temporary beta versions.

UFC and Paramount/ CBS U.S. agreement
Recent media reports indicate that the UFC has entered into a new 7-year broadcast agreement with Paramount and CBS in the United States. This agreement is exclusive to the U.S. market and does not change Foxtel's current UFC broadcast arrangements in Australia.
ESPN will continue to show the linear package, including Live Fight Nights, and the Foxtel Group retains exclusive rights for all pay per views (PPVs) in Australia.

Netflix price change
From Saturday, 9 August, Netflix will begin notifying existing customers regarding the upcoming price increase:
- Standard with Ads and Standard plans increasing by $2 per month
- Premium plan increasing by $3 per month
The price increase applies to customers whose Netflix subscription is billed by Foxtel (BoB). There is no change for customers who have Netflix included as part of their Foxtel bundle. For more information please refer customers to the Netflix website.

Foxtel Go Android 16 update
Customers experiencing issues using the Foxtel Go app after updating their devices to Android 16, can download the beta Go app for mobile and tablets, and Android TVs. An official app release for these devices is expected in the coming weeks.

LiSTNR audio channels
From Wednesday 6 August, 25 new audio channels will be available on internet connected iQ3, iQ4 and iQ5 boxes. The new audio channels will cover a range of genres, with each channel displaying song name, artist and album cover. Click here to view the list of channel names and numbers.
