- Ensure that the TV is switched ON.
- Confirm which TV input the iQ box is connected to (usually this will be a HDMI input, e.g. HDMI 1, HDMI 2 etc).
- If you're unsure what input the iQ box is connected to, you may need to follow the HDMI cable from the iQ box to the TV to confirm the input number.
- On the TV remote, press the source or input button to select the HDMI source or input that the iQ box is plugged into.
- For older TVs, It may look like one of the following:
- For Smart TVs, you should be able to access the source/input selection by pressing the Home or Menu button on the TV remote. It may look like one of the following:
- Press the button below to Reset the box, then pay attention to the power light on the front of the iQ box and any messages that appear on the TV screen. You should see a message 'We're preparing your IQ box'.
- If you can see the ‘We’re preparing your iQ box’ message, then you are in the correct input and the HDMI connection is working as expected. If it returns to the same issue, then Skip to Step 3 to continue.

If your TV screen remains blue/black (with ‘No Signal’ message), then there might be an issue with the HDMI cable or the TV and its HDMI port. Proceed to Next Step to continue.
