What's happening?
From 30 June 2026, customers will no longer be able to purchase TV show rentals through the Foxtel Store. Movie rentals are unaffected and continue as normal.
Why is the TV Store Rental closing?
Viewing habits have changed and we want to make sure you have the best possible access to the content you love.
Most TV shows are now available through streaming apps on your iQ box^, often through services you may already be subscribed to, or through HBO Max, which is included in your Foxtel subscription#.

I have active TV show rentals, will I lose access to those?
Your existing rentals won't be affected, you can keep watching shows you've already rented until the rental expiry date.
Where can I find shows that were previously available to rent?
Many popular TV shows previously rented through the Foxtel Store may be available through streaming apps on your iQ set top box^, including services you may already subscribe to, or HBO Max which is included in your Foxtel subscription at no extra cost#.
To find a specific TV show title, use your Foxtel voice remote to search across supported apps on your iQ box, results will appear where available.*
