Severe weather across New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD)
Severe weather is currently impacting some areas of NSW and QLD, with many residents without power. A reminder to manage all customer interactions with empathy and to follow the Natural Disasters process for customers impacted by these weather events.
Note: some postal services may not be operating in and around impacted areas, meaning delays to any Foxtel fulfilment items sent to customers.
Domestic and Family Violence alert flag in ViVA and CORE
From Wednesday 26 November, a Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) alert flag will appear on impacted customer accounts in ViVA and CORE. This flag can be placed by the Executive and Regulatory team when assisting an impacted customer.
This flag is a legal and regulatory requirement included in the ACMA broadband DFV standard to assist supporting vulnerable customers. It will read as specialist support on the account (see CORE example below):

Foxtel Help Channel update
Effective Friday, 21 November, the Foxtel Help Channel (ch. 700) will no longer be available to customers on iQ boxes.
If a customer enquires about the Foxtel Help Channel or is seeking assistance in setting up their new iQ box, please advise the "Setting up your iQ box" instruction video is still readily available online and direct them to https://www.foxtel.com.au/about/setup.html to access the video at their convenience.

UFC 322 Della Maddalena Vs Makhachev
On Sunday 16 November 2025, UFC 322 Jack Della Maddalena vs Islam Makhachev will broadcast on MAIN EVENT via Foxtel. Live from Madison Square Garden, New York, this stacked pay-per-view card delivers championship drama and must-see action showcasing Australia's own Jack Della Maddalena as he defends his UFC Welterweight Championship.
The event will be available on channel 521, commencing 2:00pm AEST and is available for $59.95.

OKTA security questions
An upcoming change to the OKTA login requires all TCS agents and support staff working within VMWare, to update their security questions as part of the two-factor authentication process.
To avoid any login issues, you must update the security questions and answers before Thursday 13 November.
