New music channel line up
On Monday 30 June, Foxtel announced the return of favourite music channels and launch of new music channels as part of a new partnership with Nightlife Music and LiSTNR, as well as an extension of the current Vevo partnership.
The suite of channels will launch on Tuesday 1 July and include:
- Trending (ch.801
- Kids (ch.802)
- Club (ch.803)
- Retro (ch.804)
- CMC (ch.805): an old favourite channel returning to Foxtel
- Max (ch.806): an old favourite channel returning to Foxtel
- Australian Played (ch.807)
- Vevo 70s (ch. 813)
- Vevo Country (ch. 815)
In addition a curated line-up of 25 LiSTNR audio channels will join the Foxtel platform, date to be announced soon.

CORE Update for technician installations
A CORE update is now live disabling professional installation options for all order types ahead of the transition to owner install Australia wide from Tuesday 1 July.
Customers who seek a professional technician will need to be advised of their address moving to owner install and discuss alternative installation options for their Foxtel service.
Additionally, service call reasons have been updated and will now only present DIY STU Swap.

+2 channels
Select customers are experiencing a F0100 error on +2 channels (for example, Comedy +2 or FOX 8 +2) due to a technical issue with their satellite signal.
Customers can still access content on these channels on the main broadcast channel, set their recording to the main channel or use reverse EPG and On Demand functions. Alternatively customers with an iQ4 or iQ5 can switch their box to internet mode. For instructions on how to do this please refer customers to visit Switch to an internet connection

Upcoming music channel changes
From 30 June 2025, the MTV Music Channels and Stingray audio channels will no longer be available on Foxtel. New music video channels will be launching in July, with further details to be announced soon.
Customers may enquire about the new music channels following recent media reports. Please advise customers that more information will be shared soon and will be published on the Foxtel website under Customer Updates.

Apps button now in CORE
From Thursday 12 June a new CORE apps button will be available in the account summary screen.
The button will populate information about the customers Netflix and HBO Max account status. Clicking the button will present the plan, type of connection and activation status, including the date of activation.
If the customer does not have Netflix or HBO Max activated the pop-up will show ‘No Records to Display’.

FIFA Club World Cup
The FIFA Club World Cup is now only days away! Ahead of its launch, the FIFA Club World Cup dedicated channel (ch. 507) will broadcast a special reel containing content on the teams, superstar players, emerging players, host cities, fans and group overviews.
The reel will be over 3 hours long and run on loop from Thursday 12 June until the first live game on Saturday 14 June.
