1. Description
Follow this procedure to step a customer through pairing their Bluetooth remote to their STB. (Set Top Box)

3. Tasks
2 Pair the iQ5/iQ4/iQ3 with the Foxtel Voice Remote
3 Pair the iQ4 with a standard remote
4 Pair the iQ3 with a standard remote
- Confirm the combination of STB (Set Top Box) and remote that the customer has.

2. Pair the iQ5/iQ4/iQ3 with the Foxtel Voice Remote Note: Only one remote can be paired to the iQ5/iQ4 at any given time. If the customer is replacing the remote, advise them to take the batteries out of their old remote to allow for the new remote to pair.
- Make sure the iQ5/iQ4/iQ3 is turned on (there should be a blue power light on the front panel of the box).
- Press and hold the Home and Select buttons on the remote until the light in the top left corner of the remote flashes red twice.
- Make sure there aren't any objects blocking the line of sight between your remote and your iQ5/iQ4/iQ3.
- Point the remote at your iQ5/iQ4/iQ3 (make sure you're at least 1 metre away from the iQ5/iQ4/iQ3).
- Take the batteries out of the remote and re-insert them. A message will display on screen once your Bluetooth remote has been successfully paired.
- Test the remote by pressing any of the buttons.

3. Pair the iQ4 with a standard remote Note: One one remote can be paired to the iQ4 at any given time. If the customer is replacing the remote, advise them to take the batteries out of their old remote to allow for the new remote to pair.
- Make sure the iQ4 is turned on (there should be a blue power light on the front panel of the box).
- Make sure there are batteries in the remote.
- Press and hold the Select buttons on the remote until the light in the top left corner of the remote starts flashing blue.
- Wait for the blue light to stop flashing, then hold the remote close to the front of your iQ4.
- Press the Bluetooth button on the front of the iQ4 (the Bluetooth button will start flashing).
- While the Bluetooth button on your iQ4 is flashing, press and hold down the Select button on the remote. The light in the top left corner of the remote will start flashing. Keep holding down the Select button until the light stops flashing and remains blue.
- Your remote should now be paired. Test the remote by pressing any of the buttons.

3. Pair iQ3 with a standard remote Note: One one remote can be paired to the iQ3 at any given time. If the customer is replacing the remote, advise them to take the batteries out of their old remote to allow for the new remote to pair.
- Make sure the iQ3 is turned on (there should be a blue power light on the front panel of the box).
- Make sure there are batteries in the remote.
- Press and hold the Foxtel and Select buttons on the remote until the light in the top left corner of the remote starts flashing blue.
- Wait for the blue light to stop flashing, then run your hand across the front panel of your iQ3 so that the touch buttons light up.
- While the front panel of the iQ3 is lit up, press and hold the Select button on the remote. The light in the top left corner of the remote will start flashing. Keep holding down the Select button until the light stops flashing and remains blue.
- Your remote should now be paired. Test the remote by pressing any of the buttons.
