Follow this procedure to swap the customer's primary STB (Set Top Box) for another STB that is already connected in the house.
When
Use this procedure when a customer wants to disconnect their primary STB (as listed in CORE), but wants to keep their other STB(s).

Account holder or authorised contact only
You must be speaking to the account holder or an authorised contact to follow this procedure.

1. Change primary STB
Note: This process will not work on accounts with a single STB (Set Top Box) - there must be multiple STBs on the account.
Note: A pop-up message will display if the customer has an open order on their account. Click Create New Order to continue with the change.
Note: This will normally be Box 2.
Important: By clicking complete, CORE will swap the selected boxes immediately and you will be redirected to the Account Summary screen. All other changes will be lost.

1. Change primary STB
- On the CORE side menu, click the Change Options tab.
- Click the Equipment tab.
- Under the Box 1 section, click Change Primary Box.
- From the Change to drop-down list, select the STB that will become the new primary box.
- Click Complete Box Change.
